Paint in the Tub!

No...not with the water in it.

For Christmas some friends of ours got our 19 month old a pack of 10 ct. 2 oz. Bottles - Assorted Color Washable Kid's Paint by Crayola. They explained to us that they let their little guy complete his finger painting masterpieces in the tub before his bath.. that way clean up is fast and easy.

We thought it was a great idea and tried it ourselves. Our daughter painted all over the construction paper, the tub, and herself, and we didn't have to worry about the paint getting everywhere. She had a blast!

What a great idea! I've wanted to let my son, Will, try fingerpainting but the mess has scared me away. I might just have to try this tub trick and see how it goes. Thanks for the great clue!

That looks like a great idea...it really washes off the tub easily? She's always wanting to paint, and she does love to take a bath. Might be a win-win situation. :)

michie...We haven't had a problem with getting the paint out of the tub. It pretty much just rinses right off. Paint, wipe tub, bath, wipe baby.

Let me know how if works for you if you try it!

That is funny when my oldest son was little I use to let him finger paint in the tub. He had so much fun and it was easy clean up.I am all about less mess.
